Candelilla wax is a plant based wax and a suitable vegan alternative to beeswax, is derived from the leaves of the small candelilla shrub native to northern Mexico
Candelilla wax won’t clog skin pores, and safe to use on any skin types. It also contains a rich amount of Vitamin A – which promotes cell regeneration and claims as being beneficial to sun spots and aging skin.
Like beeswax, this unique wax has quite a high melting point (70Degrees), acts as a stabiliser and binder in balms, creams, salves and lotions. It is skin conditioning, easily absorbed, odourless, and rich in nutrients. It also provides a wonderful gloss and lubricity to lipsticks and lip balms.
